Employment Verification Services for Employment Screening

Our employment verification services are performed manually by our professional verification services team. We first make sure that the provided applicants’ previous employer contact information is correct. We then make three attempts (one per business day for three consecutive business days) to establish contact with the applicants’ previous employer. The price ranges between $12 to $20 per employment verification service and an additional $18 fee will apply to orders when employers require us to use The Work Number by Equifax. However, we offer volume discount pricing and package discounts when you bundle multiple services together.

The employment verification service attempts to verify the following employment history and reference questions:

Employment History Verification: We attempt to verify the previous employment of the applicant. The following questions are asked: start date, end date, title, salary, reason for leaving, eligibility for rehire. We also include the call history, name, title, and contact information for the verifier; who is usually a staff member of Human Resources.

Basic Reference: Attempts the verification of employment history as described above plus up to 5 questions likely to be answered by HR, such as attendance record and job description.
