healthcare employment screeningWhen hiring a job applicant, employers, business managers and human resources professionals should understand the drive and motivation of the particular job candidate that they are assessing. In many cases, a job seeker is not only looking for a position that will provide them with an adequate salary, but they also are interested in the benefits associated with the position. It can be helpful to understand information about health insurance coverage and the percentage of the population of a given state that utilizes disability insurance.

Below is the ranking for states with the most health insurance coverage and a breakdown of public vs. private health insurance as well as state disability rates.

On this resource page, customers will find that the professionals at HRemploymentScreening.com have compiled data from the United States Census Bureau related to health insurance in every state and the rate of use of disability insurance in every state. This information was collected during the 2010 Census. In the United States, health insurance is considered a policy that provides medical care coverage to an individual or to a set of individuals. People who live in the United States will often receive a health insurance package from their employer, but they also can opt to purchase a private health insurance policy. Please visit ScreeningIntelligence.com for more information about health care background screening solutions.  Disability insurance refers to a type of insurance policy that is utilized if a worker is injured and cannot perform the duties of his or her job.
